The ME406P (automatic, portable) Base Pack contains the transmitter, the auxilliary wrap-around antenna with lanyard and mounting hardware but requires selection of a remote switch, an antenna and co-ax cable to complete the ME406P ELT. The ME406 is a single output ELT. Two emergency frequencies (121.5 and 406MHz) utilise the same RF output, which requires only one coax cable to connect to the new series of Artex single input antennas. The ELT automatically activates during a crash.
